Budget Friendly Bathroom Reveal

I am so excited to share our budget friendly bathroom reveal with you all! We started this project in September and just wrapped it up this month. Can you even believe the difference? This bathroom was the worst! From top to bottom it needed work. My vision for the space was a bohemian, industrial, farmhouse vibe. I wanted it to feel bright and welcoming. I am so happy with how it turned out. Barton’s Home Improvement had everything we needed to complete this project. For example, the flooring, vanity + counter, shower doors and faucets are all from Barton’s Home Improvement.

What We Did:

• New Tile Floors
  • my favorite detail in the space
• Sand the the Walls to Remove Old Wallpaper Glue
• Remove Random Wallpaper Pieces
• Paint

• New Vanity, Mirror, Light Fixture, Shelf, Hardware
• New Shower Doors
• Epoxy the Shower
  • We didn’t want to replace our shower insert so my husband sanded the shower and epoxy’d over it. It seriously turned out so well. We will see how it holds up over time.

The Floors

Barton’s Home Improvement has a huge selection of floors in store and available to special order. The tile we chose was a custom order, it came in super quick. The floors are such a bold statement in this space. I love that they are are unique but also timeless. A tip for picking out rugs on a floor with a bold print: keep your rugs simple. I chose a simple white and black striped bath mat for this space.

As we were putting this space together I was worried because it felt cold. I needed to warm the space up and make it feel more welcoming. By adding in wood tones and greenery it totally warmed the space up. If you ever need a space to feel warmer add in wood pieces. The wall art + shelf above the toilet are both from Hobby Lobby.

The hooks I chose are the same ones I shared on my kitchen cabinet hack post. They are the perfect industrial style and are also practical since people shower in here. It’s nice to have a spot to hang towels. I used a mix of green and textured towels. Lately, I have totally been considering green a neutral and I think the color green blends into this space perfectly.
