One of the first things I did when I found out I was pregnant was began searching for the perfect nursery theme. My go-to for most baby products is Target so naturally I began there. Once there I stumbled upon the brand “Oh Joy for Target” and I was blown away. It was everything I love about decorating for kids spaces. Bright, fun and colorful prints. It was extremely unique, not your typical nursery by any standards. I immediately fell in love. In fact, I fell so in love I ordered two girl bedding sets (my intuition told me I was pregnant with a girl) and one boy bedding set (just in case I was wrong) all designed by Oh Joy! Unfortunately, the polka dot set and alphabet set that Cece has in her nursery is no longer available but Oh Joy is constantly updating their products with equally as cute designs. Another line by Target that went along perfectly with what I already had was Pillowfort. They have a huge selection of orginizational and decorative items. I spent a lot of time searching Target both online and in store to find the perfect selections for Cece’s room. Overall, I am really pleased with how her room turned out and I think it is something she can grow into.
One of my favorite things in Cece’s room is a framed flamingo artwork her big brother made. I think it is so sweet and I know it made Vincent feel really special that he contributed to her room decor. He has quite the knack for decorating. I put a little kids industrial style table with matching chairs for her to use when she gets bigger and for Vinny to play on now. He will bring in Lego’s or paper and crayons while I nurse Cece so we can still all hang out together. Another one of my favorites is our double wide rocking chair. I really wanted this so when we did our night time stories we could do it as a family. Every night before Cece was born, we read a book in Vinny’s bed and I love that now we can all snuggle up on the rocker and read it together. Soon my little kindergartener will be reading to us!

Lastly, I wanted to share my nursery roll cart. On this we store diapers, wipes, lotions, baby powder and basically anything else needed for diapering and grooming. It is super convenient right next to the changing table and rocking chair. Everything is in arms reach. The nail clippers are always handy so I can grab them and trim her nails while I nurse.
