Decorating for the different seasons and holidays is one of my favorite things to do. I love keeping the larger pieces neutral so I can easily change the vibe in a room. This year our country chic valentine’s master bedroom was one of the few spaces I added Valentine’s decor into. Since we are in the middle of a kitchen project I wasn’t able to decorate in my kitchen. Didn’t know we were in the middle of a kitchen update? Subscribe to the blog and never miss out!
Valentine’s Details
I kept the Valentine’s decor subtle in here. I added in my favorite faux peonies from Michael’s on both nightstands. The pop of pink is the perfect finishing touch. I wanted it to still feel very bright and neutral. So, I simply added a faux fur heart shaped pillow and X O pillows. Other great ways to add seasonal touches are with candles, throw blankets and artwork.
Bedding
I am a sucker for bright white, linen bedding. We love our luxury linen bedding by Parachute. I recently added in the softest quilt + euro shams from West Elm. They are just like the name says, cloud soft! I am a firm believer you should love your bed and it should feel like an oasis at the end of a long day. Mixing textures of linen + cloud soft quilt bring this Valentine’s master bedroom to life.
