It’s officially November!! This means we are all thinking about the holidays. With that in mind, if you’re anything like me, you are also thinking about your Christmas cards and family photos. So, I’ve put together a few style guides on what to wear for your family photos. I always struggle with finding the perfect pieces that compliment each other. But, not this year! I decided to create a couple of boards to get an idea for what I liked together.
I always love red for the Christmas season. So, my first board is all based around Red Buffalo Plaid, which might be the best print of all time. I kept going back and forth on whether or not it was too much. But, I think with the balance of different solid colored pieces for each of us, it will be the perfect aesthetic. I try and envision the different pictures we will take when planning out what we will wear. For example, I know we will get pictures with just the kids and I like to make sure their outfits compliment each other. So, here is a little peak of what we will be wearing in our family photos this year.

The next style is for someone who thinks the red might be a little too much. Neutrals are always always a safe bet! After making this board I was a little sad we weren’t actually wearing this for our family photos. But, there’s always next year! I love the mixture of denim with the neutral colors. Something else I love about this color scheme is the fact that the pictures won’t stand out as extremely christmas-y. So, you can leave them up around the house all year round.
