travel guide

I recently traveled to Charleston SC. I fell in love with the quaint historic city. The city was clean, beautiful, not overcrowded and full of history.

We spent most of our time checking out plantations, gardens and eating our way through the town. I’m going to share some of the spots we loved in my Charleston SC, Travel Guide

Boone Hall was my favorite spot. It had a great mix of history and beauty. BONUS: It’s also where the movie, The Notebook was filmed. It was such a pretty, romantic spot.

Historic Charleston City Market

This market changes vendors throughout the day. So, you will see all sorts of different creators and makers selling their local goods. It was a really cool thing to see. I picked up souvenirs for my kids here.

BREAKFAST AT HARKEN CAFE

Their avocado toast and lattes were amazing. It was also right across from our hotel.

39 Rue De Jean

It is a french restaurant with great vibes and even better service. Every thing we ordered was delicious. The charcuterie board was so unique and definitely a must try.

WHERE TO STAY

We stayed at The Mills House, it is the cutest pink hotel. It is in a great location and within walking distance from most of the downtown Charleston spots.
